Kitchen chimney services
Pick the service that matches your problem. Each page explains what the work covers, what it does not, and how the visit runs.
Chimney cleaning
Filters washed and degreased, the oil collector emptied and the hood cleaned inside and out, so the chimney draws smoke properly again.
Chimney deep cleaning
For heavy grease or weak suction. The chimney is opened, where its design allows, so the blower, fan and inner hood are cleaned as well.
Chimney repair
Weak suction, a humming or noisy motor, vibration, dead buttons or lights. Tested at your home, with the cause and cost explained first.
Chimney installation
Mounted at the height your manual gives, the duct routed to the outside opening, then power, speeds and suction checked.
Dismantling and shifting
Taking a chimney down for kitchen renovation, replacement or a house move, and fitting it again in the new place.
Servicing and maintenance
A routine check and clean that keeps suction strong and catches worn parts before they stop the chimney.
Hob, gas stove and cooking range service
The same visit can cover your hob or stove. Mention every appliance when you book so the visit is planned for all of them.

Common chimney problems and what they usually point to
If washing the filters brings suction back, the chimney needed cleaning. If suction stays weak with clean filters, or the chimney is noisy, will not start or its buttons do not respond, it needs a repair check.
| What you notice | Common causes | Usually start with |
|---|---|---|
| Weak suction, smoke stays in the kitchen | Grease-clogged filters; a blocked, kinked or very long duct; a fan or motor slowing down | Cleaning, then a repair check if it does not improve |
| Chimney does not switch on | No power at the socket or a tripped MCB; a loose plug; a faulty switch panel, control board or internal wiring | Check the socket and MCB, then a repair check |
| Oil dripping onto the hob | A full oil collector cup; saturated filters; grease built up inside the hood | Cleaning. More on why a chimney drips oil |
| Loud humming or grinding | Grease on the fan, worn motor bearings or a weak capacitor | Deep cleaning or a repair check. More on what chimney noises mean |
| Vibration or rattling | Grease throwing the fan off balance; loose mounting or panel screws; a loose duct | Deep cleaning or a repair check |
| Buttons or touch panel not responding | Grease or moisture on the panel; a faulty switch or control board | Repair check |
| Lights not working | A failed bulb or LED strip; a loose connection | Repair check |
| Filters clog again within days | Heavy frying and tadka; filters already saturated; running the chimney on a low speed while cooking | Cleaning, plus advice on filter care |

Basic cleaning or deep cleaning?
Basic cleaning covers the parts that can be reached without opening the chimney: filters, oil collector and the hood surfaces. Deep cleaning also opens the chimney, where its design allows, to clean the blower, fan and inner hood. That is usually what brings back suction lost to heavy grease.
| Part of the chimney | Basic cleaning | Deep cleaning |
|---|---|---|
| Filters (baffle or mesh) | Washed and degreased | Washed and degreased |
| Oil collector cup | Emptied and cleaned | Emptied and cleaned |
| Outer hood and control panel | Degreased and wiped | Degreased and wiped |
| Inside of the hood | Areas reachable with the filters out | Cleaned after opening the chimney |
| Blower, fan and motor housing | Not opened | Opened and cleaned where the design allows |
| Suits | Regular upkeep and light grease | Heavy grease, weak suction, a noisy greasy fan |

Before work starts
What a visit covers can vary with the chimney model, so we confirm exactly what your visit includes and the charge before starting. Prices are not listed on this site because a lightly used chimney and one left uncleaned for a year are very different jobs. See how our charges work.

Questions people ask before booking
How often should a kitchen chimney be cleaned?
For daily Indian cooking with frying and tadka, wash the filters every two to three weeks and get a professional cleaning roughly every three to six months. Homes that cook lightly can go longer. If your chimney’s manual gives an interval, follow that. Read the full guide.
What is the difference between basic and deep chimney cleaning?
Basic cleaning covers the filters, oil collector and hood surfaces. Deep cleaning also opens the chimney, where the design allows, to clean the blower, fan and inner hood. Deep cleaning suits chimneys with heavy grease, weak suction or a noisy fan.
How much does chimney cleaning or repair cost in Hyderabad?
It depends on the service, the chimney type and how much grease or damage there is, so we quote for your chimney instead of listing one price. You get the charge before work starts, and any part is quoted separately and fitted only if you agree. Before anyone travels, you get a probable cause, a price range and the visit charge, which covers travel to your home. If you go ahead with the work, the visit charge is adjusted into the bill.
Does an auto-clean chimney still need servicing?
Yes. Auto-clean loosens oil from the inner parts and drains it into a collector cup, but it does not clean the filters, the duct or the outside of the hood, and the cup needs emptying. A periodic professional cleaning still helps keep suction strong. More on what to do when auto-clean stops working.
Are you an authorised service centre for Faber, Elica or other brands?
No. We are an independent service provider and are not authorised by any appliance brand. If your appliance is under the manufacturer’s warranty, contact the brand first.
What should I tell you when I book?
Your appliance type, the brand and model if you know it, the problem and your locality. A photo of the chimney and a short video of the noise or weak suction helps the technician come prepared.
Which areas of Hyderabad do you cover?
We visit homes across Hyderabad and Secunderabad, including Gachibowli, Kondapur, Madhapur, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Uppal and LB Nagar. If your locality is not listed, WhatsApp it to us and we will confirm.
What should I do if I smell gas in the kitchen?
Do not switch any lights or appliances on or off. Close the cylinder regulator or the gas supply valve, put out any flame, open the doors and windows and leave the kitchen. Then call your gas provider’s emergency number; for LPG in India it is 1906. Do not use the hob or stove until it has been checked.
