Two kitchens, two hoods

The two age at completely different rates. The duct question in Jubilee Hills

Yes, and it is better to tell us when booking. The back-kitchen hood usually needs a full deep clean while the show-kitchen hood may need only filters checked, so the two are priced and timed differently. Knowing in advance means we bring the right consumables and allow enough time.
My open kitchen still smells of cooking despite a powerful hood. Why?
Most often it is air movement in the room rather than the hood. An open-plan kitchen with large windows or a balcony door has cross-currents that carry smoke away before the hood can capture it, and mounting height over the hob adds to the effect. We measure both and tell you what can actually be changed.
Do you service imported or designer chimneys?
We service them on the same basis as any other hood: cleaning, filter work, duct inspection and diagnosis. Where a repair needs a brand-specific part that is only available through the importer, we say so clearly rather than fitting a substitute into an expensive unit.
